Fun with the Kelley's

I forgot to do this one before our reunion.  On our way to Texas, we stopped over in Georgia and stayed with our friends for a couple nights.  We always have fun with them and Zoe is Landon's age, so they have fun together too!

 When we packed up the kitchen stuff we needed to bring with us, we forgot the wooden dowels to roll out the tortillas.  So the men got creative and we sterilized the attachments of the shop vac and used them.

 It isn't vacation without the lap top.

 Uncle Javier became an instant favorite with Landon.

Landon's first movie theater experience

We went to see Cars 2.  This was Landon's first movie theater experience and we didn't know what to expect.  Basically he did great until the popcorn was gone.  Which thankfully lasted up until the last 20 minutes or so.  We just took turns entertaining him on our laps and didn't have to go out in the halls at all.  

Schlitterbahn Water Park

I have to say, if you are anywhere near one of these parks, you have to go!  We ended up getting a two day pass, and it was worth every penny!  Almost the entire park is fed by the river.  The water was super cold, and on the hot days that we went, it felt great!  We only had two tragedies that I can remember.  One being that my brother David lost his glasses on the first ride and couldn't get them until the morning.  The second being that Landon disappeared.  Seriously, I watch him like a hawk, one minute he was there, the next he was GONE.  I think it was about 5 minutes until he was found, but my family members tell me that it was longer.  My nephew found Landon in a place that we had all gone by.  I am happy to say he was found, we had a quick but serious talk about making sure Mommy and Daddy always know where he is and then we had more fun.
