Pics and updates
My belly has started itching like crazy! I am sure that it is partly because it is so cold and dry, but I also think that it is because my belly has been rapidly increasing in size and the itching is from my skin trying to stretch fast enough to accommodate it. NICE! I am putting lotion on my belly several times a day, but it still itches... hope I'm not allergic to the lotion! : )
I have realized that since we have no health insurance right now, I need to start blow drying my hair to make sure I am not going out with wet hair asking to get sick while it is freezing cold right now!
So, James finally got a call back for an interview. It takes place on Feb. 9Th, please say some prayers for us! Even if he doesn't get this particular job, it was enough to give us some hope...
I was starting to freak out a little... okay, a lot.
Thank you to everyone that has helped us in getting our resume out there! We love you guys!
Our baby boy is quite the squirmer. He loves to kick my bladder (especially right after I just emptied it!). The other night, James and I needed a silly break, so we played a Star Wars video game. Well, at one point I was surrounded by enemies and I was getting shot. Sometimes, when you get shot, your controller vibrates. Well, this particular time, I was getting shot, my controller was vibrating and the baby started kicking me really hard in rapid succession. We then determined that the volume must be too loud and turned it down. He quieted down after that, but it was the most hilarious feeling. I actually yelped because I didn't know how to stop getting shot and kicked! It was so funny!
I called my mom over the weekend to ask her if she had any indication that my brother was going to be a night owl when he was in the womb. (EX: the baby moving all night while you are trying to sleep...) She said that she really didn't pay any attention. Does anyone else have any experience in this area?

LIfe Happens
Okay, so now that the holidays are over, I feel that I can finally post this blog.
Two days before Christmas, James lost his job. It is a long story and basically, they were looking for someone to take the fall, and James just so happened to be that guy. We are okay.
We have had tons of help with filing for Medicaid and Unemployment. Obviously, that won't help us pay our bills that we were pinching pennies to pay before, but it helps.
So, yes, if you know anyone that is looking for an awesome employee, James has a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, he spoke Mandarin Chinese on his mission and has worked in the banking world for the last 8 years.
Anyways, enough about that, we hope that you all had a wonderful holiday. We had James's brother Scott and his family up for a few days for Christmas and we had fun seeing them. For New Year's we had some friends over to bring in the new year and had lots of yummy food and tons of laughs. Life isn't so hard when you have so many people that care about you!

We went and got to do our ultrasound the next morning after getting the bad news, and I think that was the best pick-me-up that we could have ever asked for!
Don't get me wrong, we could definitely be bitter, but we both know that everything is going to be fine and that it was time to move on anyways. We both feel that this is for the best. The bank was great, they paid for almost all of his college education and they paid the for the fertility process to help start our family. My sweet little BOY!

Okay, so we are having a boy! James and I are both really excited. Now we get to play with names and start saying "him" instead of "the baby" until we choose a name. We had the best ultrasound technician, she was a doll and she showed us so much stuff with the baby. The baby moved around a ton and it was fun to watch. He kept opening his hands which the technician said was pretty rare this early. The picture on the top is pretty funny, because it seemed to us like the baby was sick of the ultrasound wand and was pushing hard against it. Aren't these great pictures?!

A little nephew...
Yeah! My brother Jason and his wife Kaisie just had their 20 week ultrasound yesterday and they found out that they are having another boy! With three girls and one boy already, my nephew William is sure to be excited about this new addition to the family! I can't wait to see what our baby's sex is! We got lucky and we are scheduled to have our ultrasound on Christmas Eve morning! Cross your fingers for us, I hope that the baby cooperates and we can see what we are having... I don't want to play around with names until we know the sex and neither does James...
I am feeling great... except for the baseball that I have in my very low abdomen... It took me awhile at first to get used to that feeling... It is not comfortable. The other night, my good friend Heather called me and I just started crying and telling her that I didn't feel good. When she asked me what was wrong, I said" Nothing is wrong, I just don't feel good..." She started laughing and said, "Oh, you are soooo pregnant!" I realized later that night, that getting used to the uncomfortable feeling in my abdomen was what made me "not feel good" (I was a little tired, too). Silly pregnancy break downs...
I felt a lot of kicking last night, it was fun. It is amazing to feel these changes, at least when they are uncomfortable ones.. : )
