Last night was quite the night, Landon was awake with me from 1:30am to 4am, and then Grandma took him for the rest of the morning because he was a little fussy/awake. So today, he slept pretty much all day and I have had a pretty hard time waking him up to eat. My desperation to feed him turned into me undressing him completely this evening and hoping that he would be cold enough to wake up and feed. Well, that worked for a bit, but then the next thing you know, I felt a gush of warmth on my leg (and Landon was asleep on his back on my legs). James took him to help me out, which was a good thing because I had to scoot off the couch to prevent it from getting peed on and it dripped onto the floor. James told me that the diaper was completely saturated on top of what got on me... Well, at least I know that if he isn't eating that much during the day, he isn't dehydrated!
Does anyone have any advice as to how to get him sleeping more at night and less during the day time... please....

I was always told to make sure there was plenty of stimulation during the day. Things like keeping lights on all the time and keeping the TV on for noise. Take him for walks to get some fresh air.
Then at night do the exact opposite. Keep all the lights either off or very dim, keep the noise level to a minimum. Keep him swaddled. And the hardest one of all for a lot of moms is to not talk to your baby at night.
But really just try not to stress it. Remember that since he is your first you really can sleep when he sleeps during the day. And don't forget that he will learn the difference between night and day. He really will sleep well one day and you'll be able to sleep all night long.
It does happen. I promise!
Yep, love getting peed on/pooped on/thrown up on, etc. Great part of motherhood :) Um, as far as sleeping better, yep, do your best to wake him up during the day, keep in the sunlight and play/talk to him. During the night, if he does wake up, take him in a dark room. Try not to talk/play with him and just cuddle him. He should eventually get settled into a schedule. And yeah, I tried to wake up my kids to feed them, and it always ended up with me being frustrated and mess, and they would go back to sleep. Oh well :) Good luck!
We did these same things and our daughter would nurse at midnight and sleep until 6am at 5 weeks old and our son was sleeping this well at 6 weeks old too. You will find what works for you and Landon.
Remember with a little boy you need to tuck their little manhood down in the diaper so when they pee it fills the bottom of the diaper...otherwise it shoots up towards their belly button and leaks! I learned that the hard way too.
