Collecting and lining up crayons

"Sugar completes me"

Landon likes to act out movies or shows as he watches them.  I think this was the first time I really noticed what he was doing.  I thought this was so funny.

This is why we had to say goodbye to our box.  It got so smashed after this that it wouldn't stand up anymore.  But it was so much fun!

James and I made Landon this cardboard guitar after he expressed interest in his cousins real guitar.  I found a tutorial that showed us how to make it.  We finally had to throw it out just recently because it had been so well loved that it was coming apart.

This one is a little too long, but I still think it is worth posting.

Landon's first tea party

My sister in laws that live locally get together at least once a month to do some fun crafting.  The kids had a tea party and a fashion show this particular day with water and goldfish.

 This was the beginning of the fashion show.

Landon got bored and went to check out the four wheeler... and stepped on the gas pedal!  Luckily Aunt Joan was nearby to help him out.

Making Tortillas

We make tortillas and beans from scratch (home made burritos from the Alba family).  Landon started helping us in the kitchen and he thought that rolling tortillas was awesome!

 You have to excuse the faces James makes, he does them on purpose.

All in all, it was so much fun!  Oh, and the burritos were yummy too!

Pa

Landon really loves his Grandpa Marker.  He recently started calling him "Pa" and not too long after that, whenever he sees a picture of President Utchdorf  he calls him "Pa".

Landon's first snow sledding experience

I found another winter folder with some more pics.  This was Landon's first sledding experience.  We went to my Sister in law, Janice's house.  They have a nice little hill that is prefect for small kids.  Landon had a lot of fun at first, but then he got really "Mommy" clingy and wouldn't go down the hill with anyone else.

 I think they were getting an old snowman out of the way and it was too heavy to lift, so they rolled it onto a sled and pushed it over to the side.

St. Patrick's Day fun

My St. Patrick's Day shirt that I made.  James didn't want me to make one for Landon because he thought they looked too girlie.  Next year I am going to make him one anyways.

 Rainbow cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and golden sprinkles.  YUMMY!

 You can barely see the colored layers.  I used a yellow cake, next time I will use a white cake mix.

Valentine's Day Fun

Okay, here is a better view of my valentines day banner.  I left it up for the whole month.

 We decided to make pink pancakes for breakfast and Landon got strawberry milk (which is now his favorite).  Please excuse our slept in looks.  Oh, the dinning room is messy because this was the room was the room I painted the bathroom cabinet it (see bathroom makeover post).

 Landon had a great time with breakfast being all pink.

 James is so romantic.  He made a heart just for me.  (One of the only ones that really turned out)
